This is the opening event for the 2010-11 summer season!
Scorcher Event options for November
The normal Scorcher event options are open to all individuals and
teams that meet the age requirements.
The distances available

Important times to remember
Registration Day - Saturday November 13th 2010
Registration Location: - tbc
You must attend this to
pick up your event pack and to listen to one of the event briefings. It
is compulsory for all participants to attend this.
- Registration between: 1:00pm - 4:00pm
- Late entries (subject to availability, first come first served
basis): 1:00pm - 4:00pm
- Verbal Event Briefing (1): 2:30pm - 2:45pm
- Verbal Event Briefing (2): 4:00pm - 4:15pm
- All individuals and team members must attend one of these two
verbal briefings
Event morning - Sunday November 14th 2010
- Transition opens : 6:00am
- Transition to be cleared by : 7:20am
- Event Start Long - Mens & Teams: 7:30am
- Event Start Long - Womens: 7:32am
- Event Start Medium - Mens & Teams: 8:05am
- Event Start Medium - Women: 8:07am
- Event Start Short - Mens & Teams: 8:25am
- Event Start Short - Women: 8:27am
- (Note:
Duathletes will start at the same time as the relevant Triathlon
Option
(i.e. those duathletes doing the medium course, will start with the
medium course triathletes, from the same place on the beach)
- Prizegiving : After last participant finishes (Approximately
11:00am)
Remember it is your responsibility to be familiar with the course, so
please make sure you check out the course details and maps on this
website. Maps will also be displayed on the weekend at registration /
transition

How to Enter
Note: Entries will open on October 1st 2010 for the full 2010-11 summer series
To enter click on the "enter now" button located to the left of this
text for the various Scorcher options available (regular single event
entry, and team entry - plus until the December event the season pass
options).
Age limits
We have a minimum age requirement for each of the event options, for
Health & Safety reasons this must be adhered to by all participants.
The minimum age varies dependent on the distance. (all ages though as at
at the event date)
- For the short course the
minimum age of all participants is 10
years old.
- For the medium course
the minimum age of all participants is 13
years old.
- For the long course the
minimum age of all participants is 16
years old.
