Weekend timeline
We have decided that we are to do something different again with registration – since Pauatahanui is a smaller event and a later start,
Friday -Registration – Mar 2nd
Registration / Bag collection option 1: if you want to collect your pack in Wellington CBD on Friday (March 2nd) during your Lunch break – you can visit Angel at the Shoe Clinic on Willis Street between 11 & 2pm – there will be no formal briefing here.Verbal race briefing wiill occur Sunday morning
Sunday- Event morning - Mar 4th
Event Location: Motukaraka Point, Grays Road, Pauatahanui Inlet, Porirua
- Transition opens : 6:45am
- Late entries / Registration / Bag collection between 6:45 & 7:30am
- Transition to be cleared by : 7:45am
- Race briefing : 7:50am
- Event Starts:
- Medium Option
- Mens & Teams: 8:05am
- Women: 8:07am
- Short Option
- Mens & Teams: 8:25am
- Women: 8:27am
(Note: Duathletes and ‘Scorching Open Water participants’, will start at the same time as the relevant Triathlon Option (i.e. duathletes doing the medium course, will start with the medium course triathletes, from the same place on the beach – but you will run along the beach northwards rather than into the water)
- Prizegiving : This will being after last participant finishes (approximately 10:15am)
