Novice Tri

The first ‘Novice Triathlon’ distance event will be offered at the January Contact Scorching Triathlon.

It will be held over a 100m swim, 6k cycle and 1.2k run.

The swim is parallel to the shore at Scorching Bay in waist deep water.

The cycle is flat out and back to Worser Bay.

And the run is flat north from Scorching Bay around to the north end of Point Gordon

Intention of this event option is for first timers, new to triathlon.

The minimum age is 10
