We hope you all had a great day.
We do have a few questions for you from today: (will do this via a survey later in the week, but any thoughts appreciated now)
- How did you find racing a Scorcher on the Saturday – were the roads more crowded than Sunday? Would you prefer Saturdays or Sundays?
- The two lap bike for the Long course athletes – how was it on the road? – either as you being a Long course athlete looping around and going back through the field or and those on the shorter courses being passed
- Rego collection from Shoe Clinic on Friday lunch time? Was that helpful?
Thank you
If you have any other comments and feedback from the weekend please free to leave it in the comments below, post on facebook or drop us an email.
Thank you all again & well done!
The Angels & Scorcher Crew

Hi Angels, I saw your questions and thought it was another awesome event by you guys. The traffic was busy on the cycle this morning I didn’t mind the 2 lap course and the extra cyclists. the most dangerous thing from a Saturday to a Sunday and not being local of course was the amount of trucks and buses. Being a HT driver sometimes it ain’t easy getting around on narrow roads and cyclists.
I’d do it again on Saturday but would be more wary of that next time. Enjoy the swim tomorrow and I must say I haven’t seen the car parked in Martinborough lately?
Regards Dave
