If this interests you, welcome to the Scorching Triathlons Triple Challenge!
The Triple was first introduced last season (Dec 2014), and created a whole new buzz with Scorcher participants.
Held over a short course with a full road closure for the bike and run course you get to decide if you do it once, twice or three times in the morning.
It is fun, short and sharp. A perfect end way to begin to wind down the summer season. Bring a picnic and make a morning of it whether you be participating, supporting or simply being entertained while spectating.
This event will also test your strategic decisions, along with physical endurance. If you finish the first triathlon quickly you’ll get more time to recover before the next one starts and hour later. How will you use this time? To catch your breath, put your wetsuit back on or something else?
Invite your friends and family from out of town who will be in Wellington for the weekend.
And for the finale – the quickest will move forward to the Grand Finale (with a handicapped start – which makes a great finish)
